GIRNE AMERICAN UNIVERSITY TO HOLD A MEETING TO INFORM PUBLIC UNDER SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY PROJECT OF FLYING ANGELSGAU Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Education and Higher-school of Nursing and Health Sciences are organizing an informative meeting in regards to the social responsibility projects of Flying Angels which titles elderly and child care and support projects.

The informing meeting in regards to the elderly and child care and support projects brought under social responsibility projects of the Flying Angels is to be held on 6th of April 2013, Saturday at between the hours of 10:00-12:00 in GAU Cyprus-Girne Campus Millennium Complex Senate Congress Hall.

GAU has further explained that the Flying Angels project which consists of GAU Faculty of Humanities-Psychology Department, Faculty of Education-Pre-School Teaching and Higher-school of Nursing staff and students is aiming to provide service to all parts of the community and contributing towards elderly and child care and education.

 “Domestic Medical and Psychological support & Care and Education Services is Provided”Further explanations stated that the project is a decent exemplary for the unification of university and the community. Within the scope of the project the elderly care, domestic medical and psychological support for elderly, book reading and other social contributions in regards to cultural and artistic events have been realized by the Higher-school of Nursing, Psychology and Pre-school Teaching staff and students.

It’s been stated that scientific support is also been provided for care, pre-school education, psychological support, cognitive, emotional and the psychomotor developments of pre-school aged children of aidless families.
