GAU INTERNATIONAL AVIATION ACADEMY (UHA) GOT A FLIGHT TRAINING CERTIFICATION FROM GENERAL DIRECTORATE OF CIVIL AVIATION (SHGM)

Girne American University (GAU) continues its breakthroughs in the field of Aviation.

GAU added 1 more DA 40 training plane to its fleet.

The GAU International Aviation Academy, which is part of GAU and gives service in Istanbul, by getting an ATO-Approved Training Organization license which is approved by the Turkey Directorate General of Civil Aviation, got the first aviation school title. Furthermore, GAU added 2 DA 20’s, 1 DA 40, 1 Cessna 172, 1 DA 40 to its fleet.

Akpınar: “Our next goal is to create an airway.”

GAU Founder Rector Serhat Akpınar, who made a statement about the subject, by congratulating UHA, wished that the title would bring good luck to all the GAU family, Aviation and Pilotage students. In his statement Akpınar pointed out that they started to take their place among the leading institutions, and added that their next goal is to create an airway.
