Giving education within The GAU Group of Schools, The American College and The American Future College students celebrated Republic Day with enthusiasm. The 91^st establishment anniversary of the Turkish Republic celebrations started with one minute`s silence and singing of the Turkish national anthem. In the speeches made in Turkish and English they said that; "Atatürk”, with the proclamation of the Republic has set up a secular, democratic and a modern layout, the targets have been carried out in accordance with this order.  On 29^th October 1923, the day that Atatürk was first elected President, the words "Together we go forward" expresses all his goals.

At the ceremonies, primary school and kindergarten students also read poems, verse and words of wisdom accentuating the importance of the Republic.

In the 2014-2015 academic year declared as the Global Peace and Health year by GAU In the statement made on behalf of the Schools Group the message was given  ``We are honoured and proud to celebrate the 91<sup>st</sup> year of the Republic which was established with the rebirth of the Turkish nation. We commemorate Ghazi Mustafa Atatürk, his comrades, our hero martyrs and veterans with gratitude and respect ``.
