Charity Bazaar For Animal Shelter From Future American College

Giving education in Girne American University’s school group, Future American College teachers and students prepared a charity sale in Buyuk Han for the Animal Shelter.


The charity sale planned in Animal Protection week, was postponed due to bad weather conditions, and has now taken place with great interest and participation. The charity sale was to help the stray animals in need of care and protection and was supported by students and their parents.  The income was donated to contribute by giving the animals living in shelters better living conditions.

In a statement on the subject, Future American College principal - Sevim Kayıkçı, indicated that their objective was to create sensitivity for nature and the environment in children and emphasised that with the parents’ support this was fulfilled. Also she noted the importance of love of animals in children’s development, and this being among the main principles of growing successful individuals for the future that adopted the love of nature and animals.  She also indicated that she will do similar projects and organizations. Future American College students and teachers provided homemade cakes, pastries and local sweets, books and CD’s for sale to raise funds for the Animal Shelter.
