Le Chateau Lambousa Hotel which opened its doors to tourism sector about 2 months ago has attracted great interest from the public.

It was reported that the people of Cyprus who wanted to refresh their memories and had nostalgia at the hotel in the past, re-lived those memories in a so much more beautiful place and that the investment and renovation projects win the liking of people.

GAU Founding Rector and Chancellor of the Board of Administrators - Serhat Akpınar who stressed that continuous innovations will be brought to Cypriot and foreign guests, stated that "We want to create to a tranquil holiday environment for our guests with the new international markets that are waiting to be entered and variety of guests, and we are always trying to keep our quality high as possible."

Akpınar informed that he is very happy due to the interest showed in hotel by the Cypriots and stated that they encountered with guests that has said to their children years later "We were married at this hotel, it is your turn now to marry in a more beautiful setting." Akpınar stated that the hotel will be used as a gravitational field for weddings, engagements and other catering events, and expressed that - "The opportunities we provide to our guests, will be the indication of the importance and privilege, we give to our people.”

Dean of the GAU Tourism Faculty and Coordinator of the Le Chateau Lambousa Hotel Assist. Prof. Dr. Ismet ESENYEL who expressed that they are very happy due to the interest of people who wants to spend their holidays and special occasions at Le Chateau Lambousa hotel under the stars with medieval breeze, stated that “With the investment that was made, our hotel managed to become preference of foreigners in Lapta and of our people as a hotel without a casino and provide a warm home environment to guests who are far away from home.” ESENYEL who stated that SPA and Fitness Center is almost completed with the investments, expressed that they offer mystical pleasure to their guests in Grand Turkish Bath (Büyük Hamam) within the scope of presidential Office of the university and International Tourism and Education Council (GAU INTEB) Cultural and Heritage Management mission under the Tourism Faculty. Also stated that they wanted their guests to enjoy the taste, smell, customs and traditions of Cyprus in each step and that they took it as a goal for themselves and also employees.

Prof. Dr. Ismet ESENYEL who expressed that Booking.com signaled that we should give our quotas to other international web portals, stated that - "We will be in continuous innovation and different marketing strategies with Serhat Akpınar, with the view of our senior management that pays attention to details, this will be reflected in customer satisfaction and they will become happy people who constantly want to be with us.” Also, ESENYEL informed that they signed an agreement with a facility currently operating and stated that they will reach their target of 350 beds with a strategic move that will increase the bed capacity of this standard and development.
