Girne American University- Faculty of Communication initiates the Digital Marketing and Social Media Management will begin admission on fall semester of 2014-2015 academic years.

GAU further explained that Digital Marketing and Social Media Management department which will be the one and only department in TRNC to provide education on social media will also be breaking new grounds in North Cyprus Higher-education. Digital Marketing and Social Media Management program and Social Media Expertise which operates under Vocational Higher-school will initiate education by fall semester. Furthermore, the power of social media to effect public opinion and its popularity raises the expectation of significant interest on the program.

Besides Digital Marketing and Social Media Management, Turkish and English education medium departments; Public Relations, Radio TV and Cinema and also Turkish education medium department; Press is also available in GAU.
