GAU Stage Arts Academy has announced the 2014 fall semester quota of Stage Arts Dance department which provides education with the slogan of “It’s time to Dance”.

GAU has announced that Stage Arts Academic Units have been granted equivalence and quotas from YÖK and YÖDAK and expressed that the 2013 academic year fall semester entrance examination will be held on 4 September 2014, Thursday at Cyprus Kyrenia Campus Stage Arts dance studios.

According to the statement which also reminded that GAU Stage Arts Faculty, which is on the eve of its 30th academic year in 2014-2015 Academic Year in Higher Education, has won the Best Academy Award in the category of 2010 "Outstanding Achievement Award" and achieved success both in Turkey and international dance championship competitions in 2011-2012 and 2013 academic year and stated that Stage Art Academy, with its world-class international education staff, infrastructure and dance studios has started to accept student applications within the framework of the quota for fall semester.

Limited number of students will be granted entrance to undergraduate and graduate programs of Dance department

It was announced that limited number of students will be granted entrance to undergraduate and graduate programs of Dance department which provides education for 2 years and 4 years. Students who graduated from Stage Arts Education Program in 2 years may continue their career with “Professional Dancer” degree in professional dance schools as Dance Group Member or Soloist, as an Innovative Researcher in Director Artist, Choreograph, Motion Expert, Dance Theories, Dance Researches, Performance Exercises and Dance Critics fields, as an Administrator in Art Organization and Institutions. For students who complete 4 years of dance education may continue their career with “Professional Dance Educator” degree as a Dance and Art Director, Dance Educator in elementary, junior-high and high schools, Dance and Arts Adviser, as an “Innovative Researcher” in Dance Education and Dance Exercises.
