GAU and Dentistanbul cooperates to establish the first Dental and Oral Hospital in Cyprus

GAU dedicates one more venture in health and education through the 30th year of its establishment.

The first University of Cyprus - Girne American University and Dentistanbul - the first Dental Hospital of Turkey, prepares to merge with a protocol for the establishment of dental health and education services.

GAU Founding Rector and Chancellor of Board of Administrators - Serhat Akpınar on behalf of GAU and President of the Board - Murat Özel on behalf of Dentistanbul have signed the protocol to establish the first Dental Hospital of Cyprus.

The oral and dental health centre will be located in a single complex providing service through expert academicians and dentists with fully equipped dental surgery facilities.

The protocol also aims to establish two dental hospitals to both Lefkoşa and Girne under the co-investment of GAU and Dentistanbul.

The announcement has emphasized that the establishment of a dental and oral centre in both Lefkoşa and Girne is indeed a significant step forward in the health sector. It has also been underlined that Dentistanbul is the first dental hospital in Turkey that is also certified with an ISO 9001:2000 document and TEMOS “International Dental Health Quality Certificate” of Germany.

Dentistanbul currently has 2 Dental Hospitals, 2 Dental and Oral Health Centres and 2 Dental and Oral Health Clinics in Bursa.   It was further announced that the new era is to be commenced with the dental and oral health protocol signed amongst the parties.
