Girne American University has united the press, GAU science family and the community for the Iftar meal held at Le Chateau Lambousa Hotel which was recently opened with an amazing ceremony.

GAU Founding Rector and Chancellor of Board of Administrators - Serhat Akpınar, GAU CEO and Vice-Chancellor of Board of Administrators - Assist. Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi, Vice-Chancellor of Board of Administrators - Cemile Esenyel,  GAU Global Science Family, Members of the Press and the community united for the Iftar meal organized under the theme of “One Soul, One Body” accompanied by the famous Turkish Whirling Dervish (Semazen) group “Lal Semazen” who performed hymns and performances.

GAU Founding Rector and Chancellor of Board of Administrators - Serhat Akpınar who made a speech during the meal welcomed the participants and stated that “We work for a year and organise many programs and participate in the openings.  In all these occasion nevertheless we feel the excitement we do not live through the night. In this holy Ramadan night we, as Girne American University have called upon you to be united and seek the holiness of this night and break our fast. You have honoured us.  I, on behalf of our University, thank you with all my sincerity and wish for this fondness to continue throughout this year. Bon appetite to you all and I wish you a good Iftar.”
