50% Scholarship from GAU to members of the unions affiliated to Turkey KAMU-SEN

Girne American University (GAU), on the eve of its 30th academic year, continues to add another agreement to others by signing agreements with trading, industrial and civil society organizations.

The protocol agreement between GAU and Turkey Kamu-Sen was signed by CEO and Chancellor of the Board - Assist. Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi on the behalf of GAU and General President of Turkey Kamu-Sen - İsmail Koncuk on behalf of the Kamu-Sen. 50% academic scholarships will be provided to children and spouses of members of unions affiliated to Kamu-Sen, if they choose to attend GAU without any scholarship, with the cooperation agreement signed between Turkey Kamu-Sen and GAU.

It has been stated that GAU has active academic cooperation agreements with almost 200 international universities and conducts agreements with many non-governmental organizations, industrial and trading organizations other than universities and educational institutions. It is emphasized that agreements which are carried out within GAU, are active and that institutions and particularly students benefit the most from these agreements.

The statement also expressed that it has been aimed for students to receive an education with better quality and at international level with the agreements which have been signed and emphasized that the students will have more beneficial internship opportunities and job opportunities after graduating.
