Children’s Summer Holiday Creative Art Courses at the Arabahmet Culture House

Admissions have commenced for creative art courses at the Arabahmet Children’s Workshop, which has been established within the Nicosia Arabahmet Culture and Art House project by the Girne American University (GAU) Cultural Heritage Management.

 

Admissions for the creative art courses have now commenced, which will help children between the 5-12 age group to explore the colourful, creative and fun world of art, free of charge, at the Arabahmet Children’s Workshop, which was established as part of the restoration and renovation work of Arabahmet Culture and Art House by GAU Cultural Heritage Management.

 

It has been stated that the courses will help children to explore the colourful, creative world of art, free of charge, with expert trainers in order to guide the children’s development intertwined with art and ensure that particularly primary school children are kept away from misbehaviour during the summer holiday. Creative art courses will be on Mondays at 09:00 - 10:30 am and Thursdays at 11:00 - 12:30.

 

The centre hosts different activities such as amateur theatre groups, schools and non-governmental organizations, free of charge, following the renovation process. It has been stated that the Arabahmet Culture and Art House, contains a Theatre Hall, Exhibition Hall, Art Library, Toy Museum, Warehouse Centre, embodies the cultural heritage of the Cypriot society, is one of the precious centres of cultural heritage and the Jasmine Cafe, in order to recreate the jasmine-scented Nicosia and revive the forgotten flavours of the Cypriot food culture to unite with the public again
