A free to attend Certified Seminar series organized by Alcatel-Lucent Company was recently held at the Girne American University, Kyrenia, Northern Cyprus Campus, in the Millennium Building Senate Conference Center. According to a statement by GAU’s Faculty of Engineering, Alcatel-Lucent Company awarded participants with a certificate of attendance at the end of the seminar program, which took place over two days from the 10th-11th December 2011. During the seminar program industry experts gave presentations on new approaches in the field of telecommunication and communication technologies through a variety of workshops and lectures.

The seminar began with a speech titled “Why Me?” by participant Ihsan Özcan, Manager of Alcatel-Lucent Company Research and Developement Group. Many different topics, including Java and Software Development, DSL, Optical Networks and Alcatel Lucent IPTV involving the active participation of expert engineers, were discussed during the seminar program.
