GAU is to host the “International Marine Sciences and Technology Symposium” which will be led by GAU Mediterranean Underwater Research Centre with participation by Kastamonu University and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University and will be held between the dates of 15th to 17th May 2014.

World Known Experts to Participate in Symposium

The Symposium which is to be held between the dates of 15th to 17th May 2014, as announced by GAU Mediterranean Underwater Research Centre, will be a significant promotional event in the marine science field that will contribute for the promotion of the country and commence a new era in maritime. It has been announced that the symposium will have the participation of scientists from all over the world; Europe to the Far East, and the sharing of knowledge amongst common studies will be actively undertaken. The concept is indeed important as the symposium is to be held in one of the most significant great divides of the Mediterranean and in its most magnificent island of Cyprus.

The symposium to be held under Aqua Cyprus 2014 is to include 5 main topics; Freshwater and Marine Sciences, Marine Technology, Oceanography, Aquatic Ecology, and Fisheries & Aquaculture.
