GAU Students attend “How Green is your Campus” workshop
"How Green is Your Campus" themed workshops have been organized by the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts as part of the Girne American University 2014 Spring Festival.

The "Green Campus" seminar, which constitutes the first part of "How Green is Your Campus" workshop organized by the Head of the Architecture Design and Fine Arts Faculty Interior Architecture Department - Assist. Prof. Dr. Senem Zeybekoğlu Sadri; was held with the participation of a 60 person group consisting of lecturers and students of GAU Architecture, Interior Design, Health Sciences and Civil Engineering Departments and Architecture Department students of Eskişehir Osmangazi University.

During the seminar, global warming, climate changes, environmental pollution and their impact on people, ecosystems and natural resources were discussed. The students and lecturers brainstormed at the seminar which examined examples of green campuses around the world and raised the subject of what can be done to make the GAU campus greener.

It is stated that during the survey that will be conducted by the participants with the GAU students at the workshop after the seminar, they will try to create awareness about this issue and will try to establish a green and environmental-friendly student initiative.
