The “Symposium of Education Trends and Applications in Pre-school" which has been organized by the Girne American University Pre-School Education Department will begin on 16th April.

The Symposium will be attended by Turkey's leading experts and authors as speakers from elite universities and will be held at the GAU Spectrum International Congress Centre during 16th - 17th and 18th April 2014.

Prof. Dr. Gelengül Haktanır, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Halil Diken, Assoc. Dr. Neslihan Avcı, Assist. Prof. Dr. Özlem Alkan Ersoy, Assist. Prof. Dr. Mesut Saçkes, Assist. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Kurtulmuş, Dr. İlknur Özal Göncü and the famous authors of children's books - Ayşe Turla, Aysel Gürmen and Koray Avcı Çakman will attend as speakers at the Symposium which will be open to psychologists who have graduated and are still studying in the Psychology Department.

Two kindergartens, to be determined by the Governor’s Office of Girne District, will be restored by the students of the GAU Pre-school Education Department with the income from the Symposium.
Also a participation certificate will be given to the attendees at the end of the Symposium.
