The Aid Association of Cancer Patients will benefit from the play entitled “Benimle Delirir misin?” (Get Nuts with Me?), prepared by Istanbul Meydan Theatre, which will be staged at GAU under the hosting of Girne American University.

The “Benimle Delirir misin?” (Get Nuts with Me?) play will be performed in the GAU International Congress Center Spectrum Hall on Sunday 6th April 2014 at 20:15pm with the purpose of donating the revenue for the benefit of cancer patients. The script of the play written by Mine Artu and the perfectly interpreted by Mehtap Bayri and Necmi Yapıcı; turns out to be a love story, it has been stated. The play is renowned for having won the award of “Best Humour Script”.

Who knows? Maybe love is a fake old story and the entire mistake was Adam and Eve’s. Or they have initially told us love is wrong. An arrangement of a marriage and love... A tragic-comic process that follows the marriage ceremony which began with marriage promises, love phrases and ends with madness rhapsody. This is a story for you all. Likewise to the man and woman who feel obliged to get married at some stage of their lives through crossing over the limits. The real issue is how love blinds you and later turns them into matt. Who Knows? Maybe the marriage ends love first, then love kills you as revenge. In fact not one of you has yet discovered the truth.

Following the burial of the love into a wedding table, a woman and a man try to hide all their secrets through the script written by Mine Artu and well-presented by Mehtap Bayri and Necmi Yapıcı.

Mine Artu who is an expert in a field of visual, audio techniques and media production and yet is an academician and a producer of documentaries, theatre plays and novels asks through humour “Get Nuts with Us?” or “Are you the only Smart One here?” with her play entitled “Get Nuts with Me?”

Produced by Istanbul Meydan Sahnesi, this play offers unlimited laughter as it describes people who got married by mistake and yet continue with the marriage and moreover still love one another.
