Girne American University (GAU) Lecturer of the Public Relations Department – Dr. Can Kasapoğlu, has released 2 important academic publications regarding the issues of the Syrian Civil War and Ukrainian-Crimean crisis.

Strategic analysis on the use of the barrel bomb in the Syrian Civil War and research papers about the Ukrainian-Crimean crisis have been published by GAU Lecturer of the Public Relations Department – Dr. Can Kasapoğlu on the www.edam.org.tr website address of Centre for Economics and Foreign Policy Studies (EDAM). It is stated that a significant interest was shown in the 2 reports that were published by EDAM and ranked 16th place in the world security think-tanks ranking and 3rd place in the Middle East and North Africa.

Kasapoğlu stated that his views and opinions took part in press and other various medias regarding the issues of international security, international relations and military science, and expressed that his opinions on the Turkish Defense Industry and the Altay Tank was consulted in the SeTimes website.
