English performances of American College International Prep School students

Students of the American College International Prep School, which provides education under the Girne American University Group of Schools, received a standing ovation for the English reading performances they displayed.

Families gave a standing ovation to their children’s English skills at the reading festival when English performances were given by the American College Prep School 1st grade students and International Prep School students. As well as the reading performance of the 1st grade students, the competition between the 2nd and 3rd grades, and the 4th and 5th grades, resulted in Suzy Yorucu and Dilay Güldoğuş ranking in 1st place.

During the reading festival which was held at the GAU Senate International Congress Centre and attended by GAU Vice-Chancellor of the Board of Administrators – Cemile Esenyel, the students received full marks from their teachers and families for the performances they gave. The American College of International Prep School Director - Paula Branch, commented on the performance and stated that she was touched by the display of the education they had provided, and that this was an educational institution in which international students co-exist together. Paula Branch stressed that the language of education is entirely English and that the American education system has been applied within the International Prep School, and she also stated that they have been educating the future’s successful individuals.

Students, who accepted their reading certificates from their teachers and Cemile Esenyel at the end of the reading festival, have proved their success once again.
