International Yachtsman License will be issued under Turkish Maritime Undersecretary Accreditation

Re-admissions have commenced through the co-operation of GAU Maritime Higher School and GAUSEM for Amateur Yachtsman and Short Distance Wireless Operator courses on the eve of GAU’s 30th Academic Year.

The first graduates of admission have commenced through the co-operation of GAU Maritime Higher School and GAUSEM for Amateur Yachtsman and Short Distance Wireless Operator courses and a lecture was given by the GAU Principal of Higher School of Maritime and Transportation – Captain Efdal Safel.

GAU Principal of Higher School of Maritime and Transportation – Captain Efdal Safel stated that:

“The courses are spread over a 10 week period. We emphasize the significance of one to one lecturing to our students during practical sessions, therefore our courses are for a maximum of 25 students. The International Yachtsman License will be issued under Turkish Maritime Undersecretary Accreditation for the graduates. GAU students and also other non-GAU students can all apply for the course. Conditions are that students must be over the age of 14 years and they must also meet the necessary health criteria.”
