Protocol of Law signed between GAU and Ankara University
GAU Board of Science and Ankara University Sign a Significant Protocol on Law
Girne American University, on the eve of its 30th year in higher education, initiated another academic protocol in line with previous protocols signed globally and with universities of Turkey.
The GAU Science Board signed a protocol with one of fundamental universities of the Turkish Republic - Faculty of Law - when they paid a visit to Ankara University. GAU has almost reached 150 academic protocols and common scientific studies and has co-operated with universities other than the GAU international overseas campuses and educational centres in England, Singapore, USA and Turkey.
The signing ceremony of the academic protocol was attended by the Founding Rector and Chancellor of Board of Administrators - Serhat Akpınar, CEO and Vice-Chancellor of Board of Administrators - Asst. Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi, Rector - Prof. Dr. Yıldırım Öner and Dean of Faculty of Law - Prof. Dr. Cevdet Atay of GAU Scientific Board, and Rector - Prof. Dr. Erkan İbiş and Dean of Faculty of Law - Prof. Dr. Arzu Oğuz of Ankara University and other senior academicians and administrators.
The protocol co-operating both Faculties of Law was signed by the Dean of Faculty of Law - Prof. Dr. Cevdet Atay on behalf of GAU Faculty of Law and the Dean of Faculty of Law - Prof. Dr. Arzu Oğuz on behalf of Ankara University. GAU Rector - Prof. Dr. Yıldırım Öner and Ankara University Rector - Prof. Dr. Erkan İbiş, also signed the protocol of academic co-operation.
Founding Rector and Chancellor of Board of Administrators - Serhat Akpınar has further explained with regard to the event that Ankara University is now a fellow university of GAU under the protocol. Akpınar also stated that major strides will be made in the field of law. On the eve of the 30th year in academics, GAU is stressed by Akpınar to have led the field to create a difference and build an awareness and also underlined that the protocol signed between GAU and Ankara with regard to law education will further contribute for the common departments under the program of academic exchange.
Finally Akpınar emphasized that, as well as law education, GAU is undertaking sustainable development in both marine and health sectors - the most prominent sectors of the future - through the best of education and expertise of successful individuals. Akpınar also underlined that they aim to raise the opinion leaders of the future for each sector and that the GAU family is growing larger with each passing day and is more widely recognized.
