The American College enjoy Reading Fest

The Year-1 students of GAC primary school which provides education under the GAU Group of Schools were applauded enthusiastically following their performance of reading in three languages.

GAC Year-1 students were praised by their parents as they performed reading in English, French and Turkish. The Reading Fest which was held in the American College Cyprus-Girne Campus Activity Hall had significant moments as juniors performed songs, plays and readings in 3 languages. The Principal of the American College - Nagehan Diner underlined that the performances were so emotional and stressed that they are an Institution with an international student population. Diner also stated that students are being educated in three languages; English, French and Turkish thus successful individuals are being moulded for the future. Diner further stated in her speech that they are also giving practical education as well as language learning. Diner stressed that the teaching staff in the American College are using practical teaching methodologies to emphasize the importance of practical education.

Finally at the end of the Reading Fest students received certificates for reading and took photos with their families to remember the moment.
