Children and Families gathered in School

The traditional annual Family Participation Event was held in the American Pre-School under the Group of Schools of Girne American University (GAU).

The family participation event which was held in the American College was held attended by mothers and fathers sitting on their children’s classroom chairs and observing the class activities and the lessons through real time practice. From time to time the parents played with paints and got to know their children’s classmates and entertained through the experience of sharing the same atmosphere with the students.

The American College Principal - Binnur Saymaz stressed that the Family Participation Event is a significant contribution to the academic success of the children and the main aim of the event is to create awareness for the parents on the potential of their children after observing them under classroom conditions, creating an environment for parents and children to share more common time and build a bond amongst school, children and families.

Saymaz finally stated that this year they have held the third of the traditional family participation events and they are very pleased to see the full participation of the families.
