The sixth of the Friday seminars of Girne American University Architecture, Design and Fine Arts entitled “Research in Practice”- Owning Your Learning - Motivated Student Learning, was presented by GAU Interior Architecture Department Instructor - Kim Bennett.

The seminar emphasized the significance of a learning model in which students interactively participate in the projects in architecture and interior architecture. Kim Bennett presented a slideshow demonstrating the various studies conducted with students in Australia, England, Cyprus and other countries during her 20 years of education experience.

The Head of GAU Interior Architecture Department - Assist. Prof. Dr. Senem Zeybekoğlu Sadri stated that Kim Bennett, who is one of the founding members of GAU Interior Architecture Department and former Head for many years, will contribute to GAU Interior Architecture Department significantly as she has been the Head for this department in various Universities in Australia for many years.

Sadri finally thanked Bennett for her contribution to the seminar.
