American College complete Izmir Educational Trip
The American College which gives education under the GAU Group of Schools arranged a trip to İzmir to support learning.
The American College arranged a weekend trip to the Pearl of the Aegean- İzmir under cultural excursions to support learning. The trip was aimed to highlight the different cultures and the changes which have occurred from past to present through the traditional annual culture trips organized by the American College for students and their teachers. The students visited the city centre of İzmir, the historical Konak Square, and the legendary city of Ephesus accompanied by their history teachers. The students have had the advantage of learning about geography and history through visiting places as well as learning through books.
Completing the trip, the American College students have stated that they experienced a pleasant weekend and that it is much better to learn about things through visiting. They also said that the events that had been conducted made them very happy and thus they had the opportunity to develop themselves.
