GAU Girne and Lefkoşa American College students have established a visit to Anıtkabir under 10th of November commemoration of Atatürk.

Various events and ceremonies were held under the 75th year of the commemoration of Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk by GAU Girne and Lefkoşa American Colleges.

The principal of American College Aysu Balkanlar accompanied by a group of students and administrators have established a visit to Anıtkabir to commemorate Atatürk before him. In her speech at Anıtkabir Balkanlar has emphasized the principles and revolutions of Atatürk and also expressed the honor of commemorating Atatürk on 10th of November before him. Students have paid visit to Anıtkabir, the First Assembly Building, Atatürk Forest Farm and Anatolian Museum of Civilizations under the concept of Ankara tour.

American College Commemorated Atatürk with Various Events

In addition to announced words of Atatürk by year 9 Gizem Armutlu and year 7 Lara Tongarlı, Pre-School students; Arel, Osman ,Tufan and Murat have recited poems in choir. Primary school students; Tara Gürbağ, Sinem Çoşkun, Şenay Mertekçi,Dilay Güldoğuş, Muhterem Yamanşef and Salih Kompil have expressed the morals of Atatürk.

Year 5 students of Lefkoşa Future American College have performed Atatürk and Nation oratorio under to 10th of November the Commemoration week of Atatürk.
