GAU Global Science Family Gathered in Eid Feast Reception

GAU Global Science Family gathered in Eid Feast reception held in GAU Cyprus-Girne Campus International Congress Center Spectrum Hall.

GAU Founding Rector and Chancellor of Board of Administrators SerhatAkpınar, GAU Chair of Board of Trustees MemduhErdal, GAU CEO and Vice-Chancellor of Board of Administrators Assist. Prof. Dr. AsımVehbi, Vice-Chancellor of Board of AdministratorsOlgunÜstünandCemileEsenyel, Rector Prof. Dr. YıldırımÖner, Department Head of Health Sports CultureTürkayAkpınar and academic and administrative staff of GAU Global Science Family have all gathered for the Eid Feast gathering.

GAU Founding Rector and Chancellor of Board of Administrators SerhatAkpınar has reported to GAU TV during the Eid Feast gathering that “ It is indeed honoring for us to gather as a GAU Family through this cocktail session. The re-occurrence of this occasion has naturally developed a cultural aspect within GAU  family.I greet our family with all my sincere wishes and wish for a pleasant future”. Akpınar also emphasized the significance of religious feasts and leading communal traditions besides greeting all Islam world in regards to the Eid Feast.

Akpınar has also emphasized that it is a holy duty for universities to reinforcesolidarity, mutual help and communal peace. Finally Akpınar wished peaceful Eid for all and greeted all GAU Family, people of TRNC and the Islam world.

GAU CEO and Vice-Chancellor of Board of Administrators Assist. Prof. Dr. AsımVehbialso underlined in his speech that GAU is a great family with almost 10 thousand students and 1000 employees thus it is normal to have some resentments amongst this great family.

Religious feasts, besides the cultural and religious aspects, also have traditions thus enabling resolutions for resentments.Vehbi finally greeted all GAU Family, people of TRNC and the Islam world and wished a peaceful Eid.
