A partnership protocol for cooperated projects was signed to develop and strengthen the bond between Akdeniz Media Group and The Girne American University.

Akdeniz Media Group president of board of administrators Hüseyin Macit Yusuf, GAU vice-chancellor of board of administrators Olgun Üstün, Akdeniz Media Group Coordinator Tahsin Mertekçi and GAU Media Coordinator Derviş Refikler attended  the signing protocol ceremony held  in the GAU Girne Campus Chancellor’s Office.

Vice-Chancellor of Board of Administrators Olgun Üstün who held speech during the protocol signing ceremony has stated that “The protocol will enhance the opportunity for our communication students in internship, practicality and researches. We, as GAU, are indeed glad to have signed the protocol. Thus we are now able to communicate broader population via Akdeniz Media Group”.

Akdeniz Media Group president of board of administrators Hüseyin Macit Yusuf has also mentioned that; “We, as Akdeniz Media Group, are indeed glad to have signed the protocol with GAU.”

This protocol will develop our swiftness even more as we are cooperating with one of the long-established universities of TRNC which reached nearly 30 years in higher education. Currently we gain efficient benefit from GAU Communication Faculty students thus this proves the quality in their education and therefor I congratulate GAU for this success. I am certain that GAU will positively contribute to our group with the protocol due to its international structure through abroad campuses. I also thank GAU family and the administration for the signing of today’s protocol and cooperation.” Following the speeches Akdeniz Media Group president of board of administrators Hüseyin Macit Yusuf and Vice-Chancellor of Board of Administrators Olgun Üstün have signed the cooperation protocol.

The protocol covers 5 years which provides internship and research possibilities for the Akdeniz Media Group and GAU students and furthermore, common held broadcasting and technical personnel oriented courses, common productions thus establishing a common production commission, common utilizing of the media facilities for enhanced education, organizing scientific and communal meetings, opinion leaders of GAU global Science family to provide opinions and scientific studies as contribution to Akdeniz TV programs and finally developing social relations.
