Girne American University, American College which provides education under the Pre-Higher Education Institutions Consortium Group of Schools added one more success in sports.

Football tournament realized in American College Girne Campus Sport Complexes as the result of an organization held byDüzkaya Football Club gatheredDüzkaya, Görneç, TürkOcağıLimasol and American Primary School football teams for the competition. The tournament finalized as American College Primary School Football Team reached success as the champion.

Football tournament which had been realized among the primary schools had witnessed an uphill struggle. Students who had experienced great excitement had a chance to show their football education which they had conducted during the summer.The Head of Düzkaya Football Team Mehmet Hulusioğlu made a statement and congratulated the American Primary School Students regarding success during award-giving ceremony. He also remarked that,these sorts of activities during the summer,has a huge importance on students’ physical and psychological development.
