The series of Friday Seminars under the title of “Architecture Facing World Problems” was held in Girne American University Millennium Senate Congress Center to discuss “Architecture: Practice, Teaching & Activism”by Jim Rochi of Technology Institution of Dublin -Ireland has further discussed “Architecture: Practice, Teaching & Activism” during the speech held in GAU Cyprus-Girne Campus Millennium Senate Congress Hall. Rocji has emphasized about world architecture and current techniques used and also underlined some aspects of developing technology and acceleration of architectural development in respect.

Further discussing about the swift development in architecture through the developing technology Rochi has also indicated some problems faced by the architects today and solutions which have been developed counter to these problems. Rochi also emphasized those organizations as such that problems are ease to be responded to under global perspective. Finally ending his speech Jim Rochi has underlined that it will be an honor for him to be part of such organization in corporation with GAU.

Vice Dean of Girne American University Faculty of Architecture Design and Fine Arts Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hosseyin Sadri have stated that for  leading global architecture discussions and ascending student development to the highest level the seminars will be held under the title of Architecture  Friday throughout the academic year for every week at GAU and added on by emphasizing that beside of the scientists of national and international universities, other non-governmental organizations, occupational institutions and establishments and architects will also attend as lecturers.
