The students of Yeşim Sonel, piano teacher of Girne American College, have performed piano recital for the end of year ceremony.

Toddler and junior students have performed their talents gained upon a year of training in GAU Spectrum International Congress Hall. 23 students have performed during the recital upon the most famous compositions. Students were applauded by their families and guests. Piano Teacher Yeşim Sonel has stated that students are varied between primary school level to high-school level and they are all talented and enthusiastic in music. Sonel also emphasizing that the students have worked so hard during the year and that music is a main factor during the development period and success in daily life. Beside this, children whom deal with music will be distant to bad habits and intimate with social and cultural values. GAU Vice-Chancellor of Board of Administrators Cemile Esenyel has presented Yeşim Sonel with flowers and wished the best for her upon her works.
