The progress of commencing the establishment of Faculty of Medicine is decided upon GAU Chancellor’s Office and Senate decision.

The statement delivered upon GAU Chancellor’s Office in regards to most advanced levels of medicine in international arena and leading domestic medicine education and health system had proclaimed that the project aiming to serve Cyprus Turkish community with quality and international standard health services has been decided upon by GAU Senate decision to be an international center of attention in medicineeducation.

GAU Founding Rector and chancellor of Board of Administrators SerhatAkpınar has also stated that new era establishment in health will be founded in Northern Cyprus upon the corporation of world medicine authorities Florence Nightingale Hospitals, Bilim University and GAU.  Akpınar also emphasized that GAU has undertook a sound step forward over decision to commence medicine educationunder the Faculty of Medicine.

“North Cyprus will be the center of attention in Education of Medicine and Health Sciences”Akpınar has stated that North Cyprus will be the center of attention in Education of Medicine and Health Sciencesover the project of Health Complex and Medical Center. GAU Senate has decided upon thereof for serving the community inline with the necessity.

Akpınar also underlined that the decision will respond to the necessitatedelements of the country as rational, scientific, humanist and social as beneficialprincipals. Finally Akpınar emphasized that the decision will build a world standard in health applications and education in TRNC.
