GAU have participated in the 3rd of this year’s Ordinary Congress of Caucasus Universities Association.

On behalf of GAU, Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Sadık Ülker has participated in the 3rd Ordinary Congress of Caucasus Universities Association organized in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The congress was attended by 52 University rectors also including the National Education Minister of Turkish Republic Prof. Dr. Nabi Avcı, Education Minister of Azerbaijan Mikayıl Cabbarov, Acting Minister of Education and Science of Georgia David Zurabişvilli, President of the Board of Higher Education Prof. Dr.  Gökhan Çetinsaya and the President of Caucasus Universities Association Prof. Dr. Ramazan Korkmaz.

During the sessions, Central Asia, global higher education and the future of higher education was discussed later signing an agreement to accredit GAU as the member of Caucasus Universities Association.

Prof. Dr. Sadık Ülker has declared important statements to GAU TV in regards to the significance of the membership in line with TRNC higher education.

“GAU is a Role Model to Central Asian Universities in means of Internationalization Vision”.Ülker has also stated that the 3rd Ordinary Congress of Caucasus Universities Association organized in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan has oriented the Central Asia, global higher education and the future of higher education holding significance in regards to TRNC higher education system and universities in line with the membership.

Ülker has summed up his words by stating that GAU international campuses; England, Singapore and USA and Istanbul has commenced educational services with a vision of internationalization and GAU is acting as a role model in intercontinental higher education, contributing to Central Asian higher education in its 28th year of accumulated scientific information.
