ACADEMIC COOPERATION PROTOCOL SIGNED BY GAU AND YILDIZ TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY

PROTOCOL INTENDS TO COOPERATE FOR EXCHANGE PROGRAMS, COMMENCING NEW PROGRAMS AND REALIZATION OF COMMON INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES

GAU Dean of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts Faculty  Assist. Prof Dr. Hussein Sadri has stated that a new era for Architecture education has commenced with the protocol signed in GAU Rectorate Office.

The protocol aims to hold cooperation between GAU Architecture, Design and Fine Arts Faculty and the leading university for architecture education Yıldız Technical University for exchanging faculty members, students, realizing common programs, researches and academic activities.

Sadri has underlined that works of art of GAU Architecture students are been exhibited in YTU under the Yıldız Gatherings throughout the month of April. Students of YTU will have the chance to continue their education in GAU main campus and other abroad campuses while GAU students will also have the chance to continue their education in YTU.

Sadri has emphasized that student development will be conducted with various international academic activities and common programs in both campuses. The graduates will also be active in attending international conferences and workshops.

In this sense, the Crossroads international workshop to be held upon the participation of Pennsylvania State University, hosted by YTU and cooperated by GAU with the participation of the Head of GAU Architecture Department. The international conference which to be held under cooperation of Qatar University and YTU is planning to be realized in 2014 under hosting of GAU.
