GAU Vice-Rector Sadık Ülker have further stated about the 16 new departments which most are first to commence education in GAU amongst the Universities of TRNC.

GAU Cyprus-Girne Campus has added 16 new departments in undergraduate, post-graduate and doctorate programs.

Further been explained about the new student admissions and departments which are expected to commence education by the Rectorate of GAU that the new departments which are to commence education will directly affect the number of students to rise for those whom decide on to take their higher-education in TRNC. Significant statements been put forward by the GAU Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Sadık Ülker about the 16 new departments which been confirmed.

GAU Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Sadık Ülkerhave stated that priorly the Pilotage, most of 16 new departments is first to be commencing education in GAU. Beside of the rising professions like Maritime, Aviation, Performing Arts, Law, Advance Engineering disciplinarians and Fine Arts, Architecture, Interior Architecture, International Management, International Relations, Psychology, Psychological Counseling and Guidance of the global world GAU will commence education in the new academic year with 2 associate’s degree, 7 undergraduate and 5 doctorate programs and with 16 new departments.

Prof. Dr. Sadık Ülkerhave emphasized that it is a significant development for GAU Cyprus-Girne Campus to commence education with 16 new departments thus enhancing Northern Cyprus higher-education quality and student development. Ülker also stated that GAU providing education in undergraduate, post-graduate and doctorate programsis very honoring on behalf of the higher-education system of the country.


Student Admission to be realized in 2 associate’s degree, 7 undergraduate, 2 post-graduate and 5 doctorate programs.Prof. Dr. Sadık Ülkerhave stated that 2 years associate’s degree; departments of Justice and First & Immediate Aid, 4 years undergraduate; Pilotage, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Painting, Dram and Acting, Management of Immediate aid and Disaster, Special Education Teaching for Mentally Disabled, post-graduate; Health Management and Nursing, doctorate; Business Management, Politics and International Studies, Architecture, Computer Engineering and Electric and Electronic Engineering will commence education. Ülker also added that for students whom are insufficient in the English language placement test and are to study in English based undergraduate programs, are to commence their education with English Foundation School.
