GAU is hosting KIBATEK (Foundations of Cyprus-Balkans-Eurasia Turkish Literatures) 24th Literature Fest in accordance to the social events held in 2012-2013 Academic year.

Over 60 Scientist will participate from 10 countries The Fest which will be realized between the dates of 21-24 March will commence from EMU and continue on with GAU. Over 60 culturist-artists, teachers of literature and academicians from 10 countries will participate in the fest which will be titled as “Spring in Literature” and “Cyprus in Literature”.

KIBATEK Literature Symposium-which the Minister of TRNC Tourism Environment and Culture Ünal Üstel is expected to attend- on 22nd of March Friday at 09:30am in GAU Millennium Senate Congress will be participated by the declarations which are “Nature, Mythology and Cyprus” by Ali NESİM, “Analysis of the novel named “In a Night” by İsmail Bozkurt about History-Literature  relations” by Dr. Mustafa YENİASIR, “Detections on main characters of the story book called “Queen in the Cup” of Özden Selenge” by Meryem Yıldız, “Spring since past to future in Turkish Cypriot Poem” by Assist. Prof. Dr. Yurdal Cihangir, “Analyzing the Rubaies which appear in the “Rubaies of Cyprus” of Arif Nihat Asya in accordance with symbol of the Spring” by Gülcan Güvercin, “Folkloric elements of the book called “ Much New More Close” of Nevzat Yalçın” by Teaching staff Selma Bardakçıoğlu and finally ending the KIBATEK Literature Fest on 23rd of March Saturday at 20:00pm in İskele Atatürk Culture Center with a “ KIBATEK Poem Concert”.
