GAU men tennis team is 3rd amongst 93 universities in Turkey Inter-Universities Tennis Championship.

GAU men tennis team is ranked 3rd with only 1 loss amongst 93 universities which have competed during the championship held at Antalya Kaya Bebek Hotel in the Turkey Tennis Super League.


“The Success in Super League is not a Coincidence”  GAU tennis team coach Yiğit Tan have spoken further about the GAU men tennis team’s success and stated  that both GAU men and ladies tennis teams have achieved success during the TRNC Inter-Universities Tennis Tournament and added that their due goal is to represent both TRNC and GAU during the Europe Inter-Universities Tennis Competitions as the champions of Turkey. Tan also underlined that the success in the Turkish league was not a coincidence and emphasized the honor for the men tennis team players Pawel Zielinski, Yahar Dybikoyski and Uladizlou Lituinchuk and congratulated them.Tan also emphasized that they are hard working on preparing GAU Cyprus-Karmi Campus Sports Complex and Tennis courts for the season and underlined that the infrastructure which had been provided by GAU for national sports and athletes is above the standards.


“A Significant Reference for National Tennis”GAU Sports Coordinator has stated that GAU, as for almost leaving behind 30 years in higher education, is sure showing success during the competed contests both in national and international arenas. GAU is providing opportunities for both national sports and athletes with its 28 years of fund of scientific knowledge and sports facilities. Also emphasizing the significance of the reference gained for the national sports due to the success, it’s been further stated that GAU sports clubs will continue to represent TRNC in the international contests with their success.
