Colorful “Sports Day” was held in the American College educating under GAU Pre-Higher education Group of Schools of Consortium of Education Institutions.

Students from 18 countries whom are part of the American College have welcomed spring through various games and competitions held under GAULYMPICS in GAU Girne Campus outdoor sports fields.

Many interests were shown for fields of competition by the students of various age groups and the prizes were presented by the American College authorities for the ranking students.

The American College has also emphasized the importance of sports education in line with the physical activity apart from the theoretical and linguistic development. The statement made also underlined that the event was held for the welcoming of the spring.
