The fourth of the series of Friday Seminars will be held on  07 December 2012 at 17:00pm in Girne American University Millennium Senate Congress Center with the support of Chamber of Cyprus Turkish Architects under the title of “Architecture Facing World Problems”.


Head of METU Faculty of Architecture and Vice-Chancellor of Chamber of Turkey Architects Prof. Dr. Güven Arif Sargın will participate as the spokesperson in the Symposium.


“Praksis: Can Architecture be Socially Responsible?”
The seminar which Praksis will hold on 07 December 2012 at 17:00pm in Millennium Senate Congress Center,  under the title of “Can Architecture be Socially Responsible?” which will make emphasis on issues like social problems of architecture as it have been used as a political instrument within the conditions of 20th century.

Prof. Dr. Hosseyin Sadri have stated that for  leading global architecture discussions and ascending student development to the highest level the seminars will be held under the title of Architecture  Friday throughout the academic year for every week at GAU and added on by emphasizing that beside of the scientists of national and international universities, other non-governmental organizations, occupational institutions and establishments and architects will also attend as lecturers.
