GIRNE AMERICAN COLLEGE IS FIRST EDUCATION INSTITUTION IN TURKISH CYPRUS HISTORY TO COMMENCE EDUCATION OVERSEAS

Girne American College  which provides international education under Girne American University  Pre-Higher education Education Institution Consortium Group of Schools has signed an agreement to commence education at Tekirdağ forthcoming academic year.

There will be an opportunity provided by the Girne American College for the local students continuing their pre-higher education like attending language courses and cultural tours in the international campuses of England, Singapore, USA and North Cyprus with the signature ceremony that was held in the first education building of Istanbul campus of the first international campuses of Girne American University.

The signature ceremony that was held in the first education building of GAU Turkey Istanbul Campus situated in Beşiktaş was attended by Founding Rector of GAU and Chancellor of Administrator’s Board Serhat Akpınar and leading academician of Marmara region Hamiyet Dönmez.

After the signature ceremony the Founding Rector of GAU and Chancellor of Administrator’s Board Serhat Akpınar have reported to GAU TV that GAU not only provides education in higher education but also in Prep-School, Nursery School, The American Elementary School, The Future American College and The American College inorder to prepare the students to dominate the global world as individuals and added that they are also dominating the primary and secondary education institutions as well.

“Sole School with European Union Quality of Education Award” Akpınar stressed that GAU Group of Schools is the sole education institution amongst the primary and secondary education institutions of TRNC and South Cyprus, and also added that GAU Group of Schools is leading the primary and secondary education nationwide by the International identity granted from Europe’s leading secondary education auditing institutions ECIS, Council of International Schools and European Federation Schools.

Akpınar stated that memberships of international identity and education unions, international education staff and with students from 18 different countries GAU Group of Schools education institutions are active since 15 years in the fields of primary and secondary education, have also stated that while GAU Group of Schools education institutions are preparing their students for the global world with its international identity, academic staff and programs, have stressed that GAU will be in the pages of Turkish Cypriot history by achieving to commence education in Turkey.

“We Prepare Our Students Which Have Full Command for 3 Languages for them to be the Opinion Leaders for the World” Akpınar stated that since the beginning of pre-school the students are provided curriculum of both English and Turkish together with French language which will be sufficient as a language development are implemented, have also emphasized that GAU Group of Schools education institutions are preparing their students to have full command for English, Turkish and French languages for them to be the opinion leaders for the world and rephrased that the aim of Girne American College is to convey its students to future.

Akpınar stressed that together with the vision of quality and internationalization in education Girne American College the experience in education and scientific fund of knowledge there is also on the agenda to collaborate with some regions of Turkey, he also emphasized that they are honored to be the  first and only campus to commence education overseas out of North Cyprus as GAU family together with the fact that they are also the first and only to commence education for primary and secondary institutions in overseas.
