UNSUITABLE OPRESSION FROM SOUTHERN CYPRUS AS THE TERM PRESIDENT OF EU
South Greek Administration has shown its ugly face in India this time.
They threatened the Indian university, which has collaborated with the GAU with an official letter.
MARIA MICHAIL from Greek Cyprus:
“ALL UNIVERSITIES AND GAU IN NORTH CYPRUS UNDER TURKISH OCCUPATION ARE ILLEGAL. Gau’s educational activities in India and generic campus are against international laws and must be banned..”

In the official letter sent to V. K. Sharm, the president of College of Advanced Technology, which collaborates with the GAU, from the South Cyprus High Commissioner to New Delhi ,Maria Michail on 16 July 2012, all universities in North Cyprus are illegal as they are under occupation and India is highly recommended to stop collaboration with the GAU for the benefits of both South Cyprus and India.

In the official letter sent under the signature of the South Cyprus High Commissioner to New Delhi, Maria Michail, the leading Indian university is threatened in a diplomatic wayand it is emphasized that continuation of academic collaboration with the GAU will result in negative effects
“29 new graduates received their GAU diploma on the ceremony held in India under the TRNC flag”

Asim Vehbi stated in his speech made during the 2011-2012 graduation ceremony of the Indian Campus that GAU would make great contribution to India as one of the most important countries of Asia in higher education and underlined the importance of the hearing the National Anthem and existence of the TRNC flag in giving important messages to the world.

Stating that through the GAU campuses in the UK, Singapore and the USA, embargoes have been lifted, Vehbi said that higher education plays a key role in the recognition of a country and thus becoming the voice of the Turkish Cypriots in the world.
