Girne American University is adding one more to its continuing academic cooperation agreements with Middle Asian Universities and Kazakhstan in particular.

GAU Founding Rector and Board Chairman Serhat Akpınar will pay official visits in Almaty and put his signature under substantial agreements with the country’s leading universities and scientific research institutes and foundations.
New Era starts with Kazakhstan

Akpınar has stated that on behalf of GAU, he will put his signature under an academic cooperation agreement with the British Technical University, one of the leading universities of Kazakhstan and pay substantial visits. The Founding Rector will hold official talks with Saken Seyfullin, the Board Member of the Enterpreneurship Development Foundation (DAMU) and discuss about TRNC and TRNC universities recognition process in the Middle East. Akpınar has emphasized that a new era has started with Kazakhistan in conjunction with the Girne American University’s vision and will towards the recognition of TRNC and TRNC universities.

Universities should go beyond the national boarders
Akpınar pointed out that universities are the primary institutions which shape the community’s future and stated that universities should go beyond the national boarders. The Founding Rector emphasized that GAU is directing the Middle East higher education with its academic cooperation agreements and abroad campuses.
