YOK CERTIFIED CHINESE LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE DEPARTMENT IS SCHEDULED TO START PROVIDING EDUCATION IN THE NEW ACADEMİC YEAR

A new program was added to the new academic programs offered in TRNC. The Chinese Language and Literature Department will start providing education in TRNC for the first time at Girne American University Kyrenia Campus. The department has also been included in the YOK preference booklet.

GAU has announced that the department will accept student candidates for the new department in the academic year 2012-2013. It was also stated that 10 new YOK certified programs will now be offered. The TRNC citizents will also be able to register these programs.

Girne American University currently provides education in 9 different vocational high schools including Marine, Aviation, Performing arts, Law, Advanced Engineering Disciplines and Fine Arts, Architercure, Interior Architecture, International Business, Psychology, Psychological Counseling and Guidance, 5 academies, 8 faculties and 1 institute, 47 undergraduate, 31 postgraduate and 9 doctorate programmes. Starting from the academic year 2012-2013, the university will also start providing education in YOK certified Turkish Law, Chinese Language and Literature, Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, Classroom Teaching, Healthcare Management, Ergotherapy, Power Systems Engineering, Tokology, Civil Engineering and Civil Aviation Management.

GAU has announced that the students who will register to the YOK certified new departments and other departments will benefit from the 27th year anniversary scholarship and will be given the opportunity to continue their education in one of the GAU Campuses abroad.
