Girne American University (GAU) Faculty of Education Preschool Education Department distributes canvas bags within the scope of Children`s Rights course.

While the first distribution of the canvas bags containing the Child Rights article, which emphasizes the right of the child the subject was made within campus, GAU Rector Prof. Dr. Kutsal Öztürk was visited in his office and information about the project was presented a canvas bag.

GAU Preschool Education Instructor Mehmet Ali Ateş stated that the project was carried out both to raise awareness of Children`s Rights and to draw attention to environmental pollution at the same time. Ateş emphasised the project’s continuation and said it will continue in docks and district bazaar after obtaining the necessary permits from the Municipality of Girne.
