“Hello to 2019” event organized by EÇEDK Club of Girne American University (GAÜ) Faculty of Education to cultivate reading habit in the new year and the “New Years Tree out of books” aimed to increase attention paid towards books receive is being displayed in Faculty of Education Fredom Complex.

According to statement made by Faculty of Education, “The books used to build the New Years tree will be donated to Erenköy Highschool library.”

Dean of Girne American University Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Nesrin Kale who made a statement on Book New Years Tree has said, “Our New Years Tree is a tree that resembles Faculty of Education. The Tree is entirely built up by books. We built it with support of all of our students and faculty members. Most important message given here actually is we have to read books. I wish a healthy, succesfull and hopeful year to all of our students, faculty members and Faculty of Education family in next year. May year of 2019 be a hopeful new year filled with peace and compassion.”
