Girne American University (GAU) Department of Architecture Faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr.Hossein attended 4th “Mediterranean and Middle East Architecture and Urbanism” as guest speaker.

In his statement Assoc. Prof. Sadri said that, biennially held 4th Mediterranean and Middle East Architecture and Urbanism Conference with its “Border” theme took place in İstanbul, the conference`s focus is the current architectural and urbanism issues of Mediterranean and Middle East regions. Sadri, who mentioned that he was one of the biennial conference`s organisers, also stated that he attented 2018 conference as guest speaker. In the conference Dr.Sadri made a speech titled “Transition to Deurbanized Cities” and drew attention to current urbanization and architectural issues. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hossain Sadri who presented his recent work, also emphasized that deurbanization using transitional design methods to resolve existing ecologic and architectural is required.
