Girne American University(GAU), the Education Faculty Department of Music Education’s hotly-anticipated ‘the end of year concert’ carried out a few days ago in the Spectrum International Congress Centre.

The final show which is a reflection of the education and training program, which the students share their artistries in front of the audience won recognition.

In the statement which Head of the Music Education department of GAU Assistant Professor Ahmet Sönmezler made after the show; by expressing that the concert was the 5^th concert that the department organized since it has been established, he pointed out “by attending the concert, we and the dear guests that observed the positive developments toward skills and field information of our students; ‘Academics of the Department of Music Education’ felt tremendously happy. “

In the concert which art lovers attended, alongside students and academics, with a classic and popular repertoire, distinguished examples of folk music were performed.
