Gülay Asit’s (a doctoral student at the Girne American University Faculty of Education) book “BODY LANGUAGE THE POLITICAL LEADERS ARE USING IN TRNC: 2013 ELECTIONS” which reveals what kind of body language chairmen are using as an important section of political life in a form that can be counted for the first time in Northern Cyprus was presented to the readers among “Hiperlink” publications. Gülay Asit said about her book: “To communicate effectively, to influence the executives, to spread the ideas and infuse the audience is extremely important in politics. Undoubtedly, body language is also a serious strong factor as well as strong appeal for this purpose. My book evaluates the party leaders` ability to support communication skills, body language, or whether they are successful in this sense during the 2013 Early General Elections.” She also emphasized the importance of non-verbal communication.
