GAU Founding Rector and the Chancellor of Board of Administrators Serhat Akpınar made an important statement about the huge investment that Girne American University (GAU) held in the field of health.

Construction of GAU Education and Research Hospital that its first phase was constructed on 13 thousands m2 field. It is being prepared to convert the island to Health Island and it will provide a health service in international standards in TRNC.

GAU Founding Rector and the Chancellor of Board of Administrators Serhat Akpınar made a statement about the topic and he indicated that GAU Education and Research Hospital project is the biggest investment in the field of health for Kyrenia and he heralded that it has reached the 3rd stage of the hospital building. Then, he said that they made observations in construction yard and they made a meeting for 2nd and 3rd phase progression.  He indicated these;

 “Kyrenia will be health city. International medical observations for big investment that health tourism will be supported as well, have started in construction yard. Our hospital that has constructed as a TRNC’s most equipped and modern hospital is preparing for our community’s future with the help and cooperation of Florence Nightingale Hospital and Science University.”

Akpınar indicated that hospital construction is improving studiously and in international standards. He emphasized that GAU Education and Research Hospital will start to provide service in February 2017 within the scope of all Cyprus community and people who will come to TRNC with health tourism.
