"Studying in GAU is a privilege"

Girne American University Faculty of Pharmacy students began their second semester, the students who stressed that studying in the Faculty of Pharmacy is a privilege, stated that "We are glad we chose the Girne American University and Cyprus." Pharmaceutical candidates which constitutes one of the cornerstones of the health sector, submitted evaluations about the things they earned from studying in Girne American University and the start of the second semester.

Why Girne American University?

The students, explaining why they preferred the Pharmacy Section to the Girne American University Television, stated that they acted attentively while choosing the section which will play an important role in their future, and stressed that they liked Cyprus very much and considering the academic staff they preferred the Girne American University.

Emphasizing that finding a job after graduation is also very important, Girne American University Pharmacy students, underlined that the income status of the pharmacy profession is high and that there is an open in the sector with growing health sector. Talking about the academic staff of Girne American University, the students underlined that after good English in preparation class, they received the department lessons by mastering English and that they want to continue their education by improving their vocational English.

"Education in GAU is a privilege"

The Dean of GAU Faculty of Pharmacy Prof. Dr. Turay Yardımcı, offering different topics and different options to students, underlined that it is a great privilege to provide education in GAU which has a strong infrastructure.

Yardımcı, who expressed that she will be preparing very good works together with the branches where scientific studies will be done and which will contribute to world-wide, stated that "We will put our difference forward with the different studies and scientific researches we will be doing in GAU Faculty of Pharmacy." and she also stressed that they will put forth beautiful works with the works conducted with students in the point of development of Cyprus.

Supportive Medical studies

Prof. Dr. Turay Yardımcı, answering to the question about alternative medicine which is popular in recent days, stated that "Rather than alternative medicine, supportive medicine or western medicine where the two of them are used together, is one of the subjects I want to mention in our educations."

Prof. Dr. Turay Yardımcı, who also stressed that the alternative medicine have been accepted in the medical community in Turkey too late, stated that "I mentioned this topic to the Faculty of Pharmacy students in the introduction course, mentioning the rights and wrongs of this topic is on the top of the things I will discuss with my students."
