Girne American University (GAU) Founding Rector and Chancellor of Board of Administrators Serhat Akpınar indicated that GAU Çetinkaya Sport Club overcame the hard times, climb the ladder of success swiftly and it is gratifying. He said that “I wish Çetinkaya a continued success.”

Recovery in Community

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi made a statement in behalf of Çetinkaya sport club and he said these by saying “We want to convey our thanks to Girne American University and to you.”:

 “Çetinkaya who had a really difficult time last year, this year they have made recovery in community, they have taken a step towards forming an institution and they both became a leader in football. We are now 5th; sure there is a good progression according to the last years, thank you for everything.”

Success is based on effort

Serhat Akpınar indicated that every development is possible in football and he believes that GAU Çetinkaya will be more successful in the second half. He indicated that in this regard, he believes especially the directors and all of the community by saying “Success is based on hard work, determination and belief.”
